We love to have visitors. However, farming is a full time job so please call 276-472-2511 or email if you would like to take a tour. Burke’s Garden is a spectacular place to bicycle so make a day of your visit.
Directions to Garden Mountain Farm
From Interstate 81- At Wytheville, exit to Interstate 77 North (exit 73). Take I-77 exit 64 at Rocky Gap. At exit ramp, turn left on Route 61 west. Stay on route 61, 19 miles to Route 623, Burke’s Garden. On Route 623, travel 9 miles to route 625. Turn left on Banks Ridge Road (Route 625) and go 0.7 miles to farm entrance at 840 Banks Ridge Road.
From Route 19/460, take the Tazewell exit 4 to Route 61 east. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp and go to the traffic light. Turn right at the light and follow Route 61 east (approximately 5 miles) to Route 623, Burke’s Garden. Follow Rt. 623 over the mountain following the above directions to Garden Mountain Farm.
